Voices of Justice Storytelling Initiative
Through our Voices of Justice storytelling initiative, we intentionally bring people from diverse backgrounds together for memorable and meaning gatherings. Voices of Justice events include in-depth learning about one or more of North Carolina’s most pressing criminal justice problems, paired with personal stories from those whose lives have been directly impacted. Our goal is for attendees to come away with a greater factual understanding of North Carolina’s criminal justice problems, as well as lasting, meaningful connections to those whose lives have been directly impacted.
If your church, small group, club, or other gathering would like to connect with justice-involved people and advocates, and learn deeply about the problems in North Carolina’s criminal justice system, we invite you to request a Voices of Justice speaker. CJPC provides Voices of Justice speakers free of charge as part of our mission.
